i2O strengthens management team

i2O has made two new appointments to its management team.

Sales Director Simon Isherwood and Operations Director Jon Daniels both have impressive track records in the water industry and greatly strengthen the i2O team. Jon joined us in April 2008 and Simon is expected to start in September.

Simon Isherwood – Sales Director

Simon has a degree in Civil Engineering and has spent the last 12 years as Business Development Director for the Utility business of Morrison plc. During this period, he increased sales in the Utility business from £25m to £500m. At the same time, he increased sales into the water industry from 15% of turnover to 33% of turnover. Simon has negotiated major contracts with Southern, Thames, Anglian, Essex and Suffolk, Yorkshire and UU. Many of these contracts have been performance based.

Jon Daniels – Operations Director

Jon has a degree in Civil Engineering and more than 10 years’ experience of managing projects in the Utilities sector. Prior to joining i2O, he was Operations Manager at Balfour Beatty, where he had responsibility for a £55m pa contract with Eon. Before that, he was an area manager for May Gurney, where he managed projects for a number of water companies, including South Staffs Water, Severn Trent and Cambridge Water. He has also spent three years working for RPS, the leading water leakage consultancy where he was Regional Operations Director.
